Last night we stayed with some dear friends who genuinely display the beautiful Father heart of God. 

They live the Malachi Man message everyday as they care for their seven young children; particularly their son-who has special needs and requires constant care. Watching them with their son touched our hearts deeply as they are a picture of how Jesus loves and cares for us.
Gently.
Kindly.
Patiently.
Protectivly.
Faithfully.
Firmly.
Intentionally.
Sacrifically.
Unquestionably
Unconditionally.
It is convicting.
Difficult.
Real.
It was one of those times where  you recognize that you are on holy ground; where you stand in awe of the beauty and love of Jesus……

PS: As I have written this post we have: pulled over to fuel up, (which takes at least 20 minutes if we cycle everyone through the bathroom-just saying☺), l have fed the baby, the kids have brushed their teeth and the younger ones changed into their pjs….Richard Jr has puked twice, Kaitlyn has read aloud several chapters of the new book “Unashamed” by Lecrae, we have all sang to a crying baby, who has made it abundantly clear that she is not overly stoked about this trip….we now having three sleeping…..it is currently nearly 10:45 pm and we continue to drive through the mountains towards Jasper…..probably at least another hour and a half to go….never a dull moment….feeling thankful for each opportunity…..11:05 pm: pulling over for a late-night-help-you-keep-awake-snack…..loving the trailer☺( Rich is really happy with how the van and trailer are performing.) …2:10 am….one more puke,  and a few chapters later…….still looking  a place to park this rig….actual bedtime about 3 am….driving after little ones are sleeping works well for us…..
PS 2  We are learning that whatever time google estimates for us to arrive at our destination….we should probably just double it!☺
